You are expected to follow the federal and state code for compliance. In addition, it is expected that you embed the district’s initiatives, the school’s mission, the student’s goals and objectives that support their educational needs and address parents’ expectations and concern.

• Review the district website to become more informed
• Become familiar with the school-based initiatives and school community members
• Align your services in order to support the district and school’s vision and mission.
• Make the school community aware of the positive outcomes of your services in the schools
• Collect data and present it to the appropriate parties to achieve your professional objectives
• Explain correlation between a well-balanced program and improved student outcomes
